You may have heard that “you can’t fold a piece of paper more than 7 times”. Well, it’s not quite the same, but I have a theory that you cannot fold towels more efficiently without using a “tri fold’ somewhere in the mix.
The efficiency has nothing to do with time required to perform the cotton fibred origami, but rather, the resulting shape will cater to virtually any length/width of shelving, cupboard space, or linen closet you choose to store the towels on or in.
For the everyday towel? Half Fold. Half Fold. Tri Fold.
